Hi, my name is Max Douglas. I opened Inferred Design with my business partner Kenji McAuliffe in late 2022. We opened the business with hopes of supplementing some of our income, allowing us to spend less time at our day jobs and focus on something we truly enjoyed.
After landing our first few projects, we went full-time with the business, working primarily with the trades and construction industry. Two years in, we were provided the opportunity to work with a not-for-profit organisation in the mental health space.
This project was unique, spanning over a five-month period. It proved to be a formative experience that ignited our passion for developing resources in the mental health space and reinforced our decision to make a shift in direction for the business.
Following that initial project we’ve been fortunate to have the opportunity to work with mental health professionals and other not-for-profit organisations in mental health. These opportunities have solidified our passion and company direction, removing barriers for those seeking mental health assistance through the creation of online resources.
