Client Policy

Effective Date: 01/01/2024

This policy outlines the terms of engagement between Inferred Design and its clients to ensure transparency, consistency, and a shared understanding of service boundaries.


1. Post-Launch Website Edits

As a courtesy, Inferred Design provides complimentary website edits and changes for a period of 4 weeks following the website launch date.

  • These edits must be minor and related to the agreed-upon scope.
  • After this 4-week period, any additional work is classified as Ad Hoc Support, charged at $115 per hour + GST.

2. Client Inactivity (AWOL Policy)

Clients are expected to maintain communication throughout the project lifecycle. If:

  • We have attempted contact via email 3 or more times,
  • And received no response for a period exceeding 3 months,

you will be deemed an AWOL (Absent Without Leave) client. In such cases:

  • Any prior downpayment is forfeited,
  • Inferred Design is not obligated to continue or resume the project.

3. Refund Policy

Inferred Design maintains a strict no-refunds policy.

This applies to all project stages including deposits, progress payments, and final balances.

Once a payment has been processed, it is considered final.
